The second season of Loki offers some crucial support for a significant theory about the titular God of Mischief’s function in Avengers: Secret Wars. In the Loki season 1 finale, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) was unable to prevent Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) from killing He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors), therefore he has returned to warn the Time Variance Authority of the impending danger. However, his significant MCU future may have also been hinted at.
Loki suffers from “time-slipping,” in which his body is forcefully and uncontrollably transported back and forth between the past, present, and future, as was depicted in the opening episode of Loki season 2. It has been asserted that the TVA should be immune to this temporal illness because it exists outside of time.
